On 20 November, Belarus issued a stamp devoted to the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2010. The 8th Junior Eurovision Song Contest was held on 20 November 2010 in Minsk. 14 young stars represented their countries on the stage of Minsk-Arena, including 15 000 spectators who came to watch the show in live.
The contest was won by Vladimir Arzumanyan of Armenia with the song Mama. This gave Armenia its first Junior Eurovision victory and its first victory in any Eurovision contest. The second place was given to the Russian duet Liza Drozd & Sasha Lazin performed the song Boy and Girl, Serbia with Sonja Skoric and her song Magical Night is the third.
