Embroidery is a useful and much loved hobby for many people. Some people like to sit in concentration transferring the complicated colours of the pattern and let the embroidery grow by counting threads in the fabric. Others like to let their creativity and thoughts wander in printed patterns. Regardless of method, embroidery is beautiful. This year some of the details on Grandma's Christmas tablecloth have found their way on to the Norwegian Christmas stamps.
