Forts of Pakistan Definitives

Pakistan Post Office is introducing new set of definitive public and services postage stamps (Paisa Values) in the Fort Series on June 16, 1984. The two public postage stamps are of 20 Paisa and 60 Paisa denominations depicting a view of the Attock Fort and the Lahore Fort respectively.
Service Postage stamps of 20 Paisa and 60 Paisa value in the above designs alongwith stamps of 5 Paisa, 10 Paisa and 50 Paisa denominations in the new series depicting Kot Diji Fort, Rohtas Fort and Hyderabad Fort will be issued later.
Public and Service postage stamps in the existing definitive series will continue to be sold and valid for pre-payment of postage till notified otherwise.
Other values were later added to make a set of 8 stamps; 05p, 10p, 20p, 50p, 60p, 70p and 80p.
