Lithuanian Post will issue a new stamp on April 10, 2010, devoted to Shanghai Expo 2010. Expo 2010 will be held in the city of Shanghai, China from May 1 to October 31, 2010. The theme of the exposition will be "Better City - Better Life".
More than 190 countries and more than 50 international organizations have registered to participate in the Shanghai World Expo. China expects to receive almost 100 foreign leaders and millions of people from across the world to come and visit the World Expo. 70 million visitors are expected, the largest in history.
Lithuanian Post issues a postage stamp due to Lithuanian participation in the world exhibition for the second time already.
The stamp depicts a hot-air balloon in Lithuanian flag colors flying above Shanghai.
