2010 Christmas stamp by Croatian Post

The motif of this postage stamp is the painting "Adoration of the Shepherds" by Josip Biffel, located in the Gallery "Simun" of the Franciscan Monastery of St. Ante in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The author of the stamp is Tomislav Vlainic, a designer from Split.

The stamp was printed in one million copies (700,000 copies in sheets of 20 stamps and 30,000 in booklets of 10 self-adhesive stamps each).

"Christmas" is the oldest series of commemorative postage stamps issued by Croatian Post. The stamps from this series have been issued regularly since 1991. A booklet was first released in 2000, while in 2003 a self-adhesive stamp sheet was issued for the first time.
