Pakistan Post Office celebrating the Armed Forces Day released a set of two stamps on January 10,1960. De La Rue of London printed stamps, in lithography. Their motif shows the Inter Services Shield at the center in original colours; blue and red.
Bold inscription printed at base reads \"ARMED FORCES DAY\" and date \"JAN 1960\" below the caption. The denomination is printed at lower right of crest and country name at the top in two lines with English in first line and Bengali and Urdu below that in single line but spaced. All inscriptions are in reverse except country name. Stamps are in vertical format.
Colours of the stamp (lower value) green, red and blue and higher value blue and red.
