The France Post has issued a stamp dedicated to the city of Angers, which will host the Spring philatelic exhibition to be held from 8 to 10 April 2011.
Under the dynasty of the Plantagenets, Angers was one of the intellectual centers of Europe with the patronage of Rene d'Anjou. Nowadays, Angers has become a tourist itinerary for everybody watching the Loire castles. Angers is considered the World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
