Thai Philatelic Exhibition stamps

The Thai Post has issued a set of four stamps commemorating the THAIPEX 2011.

The 17th Thailand Philatelic Exhibition (THAIPEX 2011) is taking place from 4-10 August 2011 on the second floor of Siam Paragon. The theme this year (as you can see from the stamps) is "Singing and Dancing with Thailand's Traditional Amusement". Visitors to the event also have opportunities to see displays of precious, rare or award winning stamp collections by professional stamp collectors. Stamp collectors can also enjoy shopping in the stamp market where both Thai and foreign stamps are available. Activities for children are provided including classes to learn about stamps as well as how to search, collect and arrange stamps for competition.
