On 27 January, 2011, An Post issued two stamps for its annual Greetings series.
This year's Greetings stamps feature bold, colourful photographic treatments of balloons and flowers - typical symbols of joy and happiness, guaranteed to brighten up any greetings correspondence.
The stamps are certain to enliven your envelopes and are suitable for the exchange of expressions of goodwill over a broad spectrum of celebratory events and occasions.
The 2011 Greetings stamp issue is produced in a booklet of ten stamps, which also includes a selection of complementary stickers which can be affixed to your envelope to add that extra personal touch. The stickers feature twinkling lights, streamers, bunting, cupcakes, balloons and flowers all signifying happy occasions and the well wishes of the sender.
