Two commemorative stamps paying homage to the hundreds of men who played baseball in Negro Leagues were unveiled Thursday at Kansas City's Negro Leagues Baseball Museum.
"With the release of today's beautiful stamps that legacy will travel far and wide," said Thurgood Marshall Jr., vice chair of the U.S. Postal Service's Board of Governors. "Everyone who buys and receives these stamps will be reminded of the players and managers and officials who contributed so much to this great game."
