Prime Vision Recognised In Dutch Exhibition - And On A Stamp

Prime Vision's High Yield Character Recognition technology (HYCR) has been selected for inclusion in an exhibition that celebrates significant Dutch inventions in the last 100 years. This patented recognition technology is the basis of Prime Vision's advanced OCR/ICR that is widely used in automation systems throughout the postal industry.

Patent Parade is a touring exhibition that is scheduled to visit 10 Dutch cities and features inventions and patented ideas from diverse walks of life: the home, multimedia, sports equipment, environment and medical technology to name but a few.

"Prime Vision is very proud to be included in Patent Parade," the company's Mark Ryder explains. "And the icing on the cake is that our technology is also the basis of the design for a special postage stamp released to mark the run of the Patent Parade Exhibition."

The exhibition was launched in Delft earlier this year and is currently in Den Haag. It then moves on to Almere, Eindhoven, Arnhem and Rotterdam, with its final port of call being Amsterdam in March and April 2011.
